But no worries, as we are here to offer you a selection of outfits which are ideal to show off on informal contexts at the office: casual yet chic looks, enlivened by a touch of color, that will let you end the week comfortably.

How to dress for this informal occasion? And how to match accessories for a casual and effective look?

We asked our Style Advisor, Fabrizio, who works at our atelier in Milan, some practical tips.

A passion for craftsmanship, made to measure and the attention to detail can make the difference in every look: Fabrizio will reveal you the winning combinations, also sharing some style tips for the perfect casual Friday outfit!

What do you recommend for casual Friday at the office?

My advice for casual Friday in the office is to choose a broken suit, featuring beige chino trousers in linen twill, which are comfortable, fresh and suitable for summer days, or alternatively a blue or green linen chinos. These options are the perfect match with a beige or red striped cotton linen blend shirt.

Thanks to its wrinkled effect, which adds sophistication and charm, linen is perfect for casual Friday and if you think about the shirt, combined with cotton, is fresh and maintains a tidier and impeccable look.

To complete the look, I suggest a belt in cognac-colored calfskin: a style detail for a true gentleman.

If you are not a shirt lover, opt for dark beige chinos combined with a blue cotton short-sleeved polo shirt. This option is fresh, modern and informal, featuring classic colors: a must-have for beige and blue lovers or for those who don’t want to risk too much with bright tones.”

What are the essential accessories to complete the look?

Do not forget about the belt. I recommend a dark brown suede combined with a suede loafer of the same shade. For a more colorful look, opt for a cognac-colored version in textured leather, which is soft to the touch and informal.

Another versatile accessory you can choose is a summery and fresh beige linen scarf with details and patterns in the shades of blue: it will add a touch of charm to every look.

What do you recommend for those who work in the office, but in less formal and more creative contexts?

“For informal and creative work environments, opt for a contrast of colors. Green light to warm, lively and bright tones. Choose an olive-green cotton chinos featuring twill weave and combine them with an orange cotton polo shirt, which is lightweight and breathable. Complete your outfit with a dark brown suede belt.

Cotton is the fabric par excellence to be used in casual contexts: it is fresh and comfortable to wear especially during the spring-summer season.”

Which is the perfect outfit for an after-work aperitivo?

If you receive a last-minute invite for an after-work aperitivo, opt for beige or brown linen trousers combined with a blue polo shirt: simple yet impressive. This combination of colors lends itself to both a daily and evening look and is the versatile look to adapt to all aperitivo locations.

To complete the outfit, opt for a blue brushed leather belt and a white, lightweight and warm cotton blend silk sweater, ideal to wear in the cooler hours, during the evening or, why not, to lend to your beloved one.”
